Area Director – South East France – Transcatheter Heart Valve

About the role

Edwards is seeking an Area Director for South East France to lead its Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business. The role combines strategic commercial leadership, talent development, and regional growth responsibilities within a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead territory managers and field clinical specialists to achieve sales and financial targets aligned with Edwards’ THV strategy.
• Own financial performance, including sales, OPEX, planning, and resource allocation.
• Engage with key opinion leaders, C‑suite executives, and clinical stakeholders to drive adoption of THV therapies.
• Navigate complex commercial, regulatory, market‑access, and medical‑affairs environments.
• Represent Edwards at national and international medical/scientific congresses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of sales experience with a proven record of growth.
• At least 6 years of people‑management experience building high‑performing teams.
• Extensive experience in the medical‑devices sector, preferably in interventional cardiology.
• Fluent French native speaker and proficient in English.
