Account Manager – Recycled Polyethylene (Europe)

About the role

Green World Compounding, a Vinmar company, is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to expand its recycled polyethylene business across Europe. You will work with manufacturers and end‑users in sectors such as packaging, automotive, construction, and consumer goods, helping them adopt sustainable plastic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with manufacturers using or transitioning to recycled plastic materials.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of industrial clients across Spain and the broader European market.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, product applications, and sustainability trends.
• Present and promote the company’s range of recycled resins, compounds, and flakes to potential buyers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve profitable growth targets.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM data.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and sustainability conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in plastics, polymers, recycling, or industrial materials.
• Strong understanding of the recycled plastics industry and material specifications.
• Proven track record of generating new business and managing long‑term client relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel regionally across Europe.
