Account Executive - Strategic Accounts (H/F)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an Account Executive for strategic accounts in Puteaux. The role manages one or two top global accounts, including worldwide subsidiaries, and works in a hybrid setup with about two days per week in an HPE office. It is a senior position reporting to a director or above, with responsibility for a large multi-department area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage one or two top global accounts, understand the customer's IT and business objectives and drive profitable business performance across HPE business units
• Build and close deals, lead the deal team and manage a multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed team including partners
• Develop customer relationships with key influencers and decision-makers, and engage the partner ecosystem
• Create and run an Account Business Plan, and manage the account P&L where appropriate
• Position HPE solutions and build a business value framework, and formulate technology choices that expand HPE's presence and margin in the account
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline, lead early engagements and govern pipeline building across geographies
• Develop and own the partner strategy, working with Partner Business Managers and technology partners on joint go-to-market offerings
• Engage with the customer's C-level and CTO/CIO, and contribute to the customer's innovation agenda and HPE roadmaps
