Account Executive – DACH Market (Outbound SaaS)

About the role

Prelude is looking for a high‑energy outbound Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for SMB customers in the DACH region. You will prospect, qualify, demo and close deals quickly, driving volume and revenue for our OTP authentication platform.

Key responsibilities

• Run a high‑volume outbound motion daily (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn) to build pipeline from scratch.
• Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from discovery to signed contract, typically within a short sales cycle.
• Qualify SMB prospects with sharp, conversational discovery to uncover pain points.
• Deliver concise, tailored demos to SMB buyers.
• Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for pipeline, activities, and closed revenue.
• Maintain HubSpot data accurately for forecasting.

Required profile

• Proven experience running a full outbound sales cycle and closing high‑volume SMB deals fast.
• Cold‑calling native, comfortable making 50+ calls per day.
• Solid SaaS sales background; able to discuss APIs with technical buyers.
• Consistent quota attainment and over‑achievement.
• Strong discovery skills and natural curiosity to become a product expert.
• Experience with the DACH market; fluency in English, German a plus.
