Tool Developer – Avionics Software

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Tool Developer to join its Avionics Software team in Toulouse. You will work on the design, development, production and support of critical embedded avionics products and the associated software production system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the avionics software production system for airborne and ground products.
• Study, develop, qualify, deploy and maintain tools and methods used in the software factory.
• Provide support activities for the production environment.
• Perform static program analysis and automate specific development phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in real‑time embedded software development (DO‑178, DO‑330).
• Experience in requirements engineering, formal methods, compilation techniques and programming language semantics.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Advanced level of English and French.
• Eligibility for security clearance.
