Senior Business Analyst – Systems Engineering, MBSE & AI

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its IT & Digital teams in Toulouse. You will work at the intersection of Business and IT, driving digital transformation, Systems Engineering (SE/MBSE), System Thinking and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategic IT product trajectories, shape end‑to‑end PLM strategies and lead Centers of Excellence, Tech Forums and Knowledge Management activities.
• Identify and design AI‑driven process improvements, creating use cases that maximise operational efficiency.
• Produce functional and non‑functional specifications, guide solution lifecycles and support product road‑maps.
• Bridge product management and technical teams to ensure solution integrity and performance.
• Provide process‑reengineering expertise and lead change‑management efforts for AI adoption.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Business Analysis within a complex environment.
• Deep knowledge of SE, MBSE and System Thinking frameworks.
• Strong understanding of legacy IT integration, digital transformation and end‑to‑end business drivers.
• Solid foundation in AI concepts, data requirements for machine learning and predictive modelling.
• Proven ability to guide users through cultural and operational shifts linked to AI.
