AIx Field Service Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an AIx Field Service Engineer to join its Europe AIx team. The role supports field service teams by acting as the primary contact for digital tools at customer sites and bridges to the Digital Tools Enablement organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify areas for improvement and drive continual improvement of digital tools.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer‑site digital tools globally.
• Explain complex or sensitive problems internally and build consensus with teams and customers.
• Support complex issues by applying data analytics and new problem‑solving approaches.
• Manage model propagation, dashboard configuration, and monitor signal trends.

Required profile

• Literacy in tool signals, systems, and processes.
• Passionate about digital‑tool usage and adding value.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑relationship skills, able to work in a geographically and culturally diverse team.

Required skills

• Statistics literacy.
• Computer systems knowledge.
• Understanding of BKM modeling techniques.

What we offer

• Salary range €44,000 – €60,500 per year.
