Technical Leader Windchill CorePDM

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Technical Leader for the Windchill CorePDM application to join its Physical Product Department at the Marignane site, near Marseille. You will lead the product lifecycle management of helicopters within the End To End Develop domain, which delivers digital solutions across the helicopter development process.

Key responsibilities

• Architecture, resilience and performance: guarantee robustness, scalability and high availability, design fault-tolerant architectures, drive observability (monitoring, tracing, alerting) and optimise performance under traffic spikes
• Technical leadership: define code quality, security and automation standards, own the code review process, validate architectural and technological choices, provide guidance to teams and share best practices
• Strategic alignment: work with the Product Owner and Product Manager to turn business needs into technical roadmaps, approve technical solutions, integrate the application into the company's IT landscape and balance new features with technical debt
• Major incident management: act as the technical reference during critical production incidents to guide the team to a fast resolution

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of technical and functional expertise in Windchill, with proven technical leadership experience
• Fluent English and an advanced level of French
• Excellent communicator able to explain complex technical topics to stakeholders and management
• Experience with the Agile way of working

The position is permanent (Classe G13) and requires a security clearance. The process involves an online application, a security questionnaire, an HR interview and a technical interview with the future manager.
