Senior Product Manager, SMB e‑commerce Growth

About the role

Photoroom is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own activation, monetization, and retention for its SMB e‑commerce segment across mobile and web apps. This growth‑focused role will turn sign‑ups into retained subscribers by designing paywalls, pricing experiments, onboarding, and discovery flows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a squad responsible for a specific slice of the growth funnel (activation, paywall, pricing, or retention) and own end‑to‑end execution.
• Run a high‑velocity experimentation program, shipping weekly A/B tests and larger feature bets based on data.
• Identify drop‑off points, build and ship features to fix them, and partner with User Acquisition on the handoff from paid to product.
• Own both web and mobile funnels, adapting strategies for different user behaviours.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of product management experience with measurable activation, monetization, or retention impact.
• Experience with subscription‑based revenue models (B2B SaaS, B2C subscription, or B2B2C).
• Deep understanding of SMB e‑commerce seller behaviour and funnel dynamics.
• Ability to work autonomously in a small, high‑autonomy team, including remote or async environments.

Required skills

• SQL for data querying.
• Analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Mixpanel.
• Experience designing and running A/B tests.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude for automating tasks.
