Senior IT Engineer

About the role

Alan is building a prevention insurance platform that combines insurance, prevention and care, and is hiring IT Engineers in France, Spain, Belgium and Canada. The role builds and owns the internal technology platform used by every employee: identity and provisioning, endpoint and SaaS security, clinic tooling and automation. You will focus on one or two areas at a time, with up to 2-3 days per month on IT support.

Key responsibilities

• Platform & automation: extend Alan Home, the internal provisioning engine, and helpdesk, SaaS provisioning and onboarding/offboarding flows; own the meeting room AV and booking platform
• Identity & access: manage the employee lifecycle on Google Workspace and SSO/SAML, grow role-based access control, run access reviews and least-privilege audits, and manage SaaS procurement and licenses
• Endpoint & SaaS security: own the Mac fleet in Kandji, Cloudflare WARP and SaaS security controls, and help maintain ISO 27001 and remediate ACPR and pentest findings
• Health professionals IT: provide the IT layer for clinics, including practitioner tooling, equipment and access, and automate roles and permissions
• Internationalisation: make IT a repeatable process for new markets and bring acquired entities onto the same platform

Required profile

• 5+ years in IT engineering, platform, systems or corporate engineering, with ownership of production-facing systems
• Depth in at least one area (platform & automation, identity or endpoint & security) and range beyond it
• Writes code, with Python, APIs and pull requests in a shared repo
• Comfort with regulated environments such as health data, ACPR, ISO 27001 and HDS
• Uses AI tools to speed delivery, with good written communication, documentation and pragmatic judgment

Required skills

• Nice to have: internal provisioning or IdP automation, Kandji or another MDM at scale, Cloudflare Zero Trust/WARP, Datadog, audit remediation, multi-country rollouts, mentoring or leading a small crew
• Fluent English and professional French
