Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote, collaborative engineering team that powers a globally used digital platform. You will be responsible for improving reliability, performance, and automation across large‑scale production environments while enabling development teams to deliver software quickly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimise large‑scale production infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Proactively monitor systems, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for scalability, resilience and cost efficiency.
• Design, maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines that support rapid, safe software delivery.
• Deploy, manage and support containerised applications using Kubernetes, Docker and cloud‑native technologies.
• Collaborate with software engineers to streamline deployment processes and improve infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code solutions and promote automation across operational workflows.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response and continuous improvement of monitoring, logging and observability platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing large‑scale distributed production environments.
• Strong Linux system administration skills, including networking, storage and performance optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and familiarity with on‑premises infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD best practices.
• Ability to work effectively within distributed international teams.
