Scientific IT Service Manager (CDI)

About the role

Pierre Fabre Laboratories is recruiting a Scientific IT Service Manager (Gestionnaire des services informatiques scientifiques) in Toulouse to join the Infrastructure & IT R&D Medical Care team. You will co-lead the delivery and continuous improvement of scientific IT services, ensuring the operational excellence, availability and evolution of scientific applications and infrastructure, in close collaboration with scientists, researchers and IT professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of scientific IT services, including deployment, maintenance, support and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the configuration, updates and troubleshooting of scientific applications such as LIMS, ELN, eTMF, EDCs and data analysis tools.
• Own each release of the assigned products so that delivery meets business needs.
• Act as a contact point for Lab Managers and for R&D users, gathering feedback and improving adoption.
• Monitor service performance, manage incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal and external IT teams on infrastructure compatibility, security and compliance.
• Ensure services comply with data governance policies and regulations such as GLP and GCP.
• Maintain service documentation and contribute to user training and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT service management within a scientific or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of scientific workflows, data management and laboratory systems.
• English at C1 level.

Required skills

• Strong exposure to SDLC management.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and Agile methodologies (ITIL V4, PSPO-I / II certifications are a plus).
• Experience with scientific applications (LIMS, ELN, EDCs, eTMF) and cloud environments.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow is a plus.
