Regional Trainer, Southern Europe

About the role

Sonos is looking for a Regional Trainer for Southern Europe, covering France, Spain and Italy, within its Global Training & Education team. The trainer brings educational moments to life for partners in the Retail and AV channels, presenting engaging content to retail consumer electronics, installed services, AV experts and retail corporate management. The role suits someone with a deep understanding of consumer electronics and experience developing and delivering training programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver educational content verbally to small and large audiences through in-person events, webinars, on-camera video training, trade shows and LMS platform management.
• Adapt communication style to each audience and speak the operating languages of the audiences reached.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating remotely and in person to improve training experiences.
• Work with sales and content teams to turn education into a driver of sales and advocacy, and with in-field sales and advocacy teams to keep training consistent across the region.
• Answer partner questions outside training events and keep up with industry trends and competing technologies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience and success with public speaking and on-camera presentations.
• Experience communicating knowledge to others.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Ability to travel monthly to North America, Europe, Asia and Australia for in-person training events.
• Preferred: 1-3 years in technical education, experience in audio/video retail, installation or design, and experience managing Learning Management Systems.

Required skills

• Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
• Adobe Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere (preferred).
• Project management and organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
• Additional fluency in Spanish or Italian is an advantage.
