Project Procurement Specialist – New Product Development

About the role

We are seeking a Project Procurement Specialist (Project Buyer) to support new product development initiatives in Montluel, France. The role acts as the bridge between purchasing and R&D, ensuring cost‑effective and timely product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for new product development projects.
• Drive RFQs, lead negotiations, and support supplier selection.
• Ensure project targets related to cost, quality, and timelines are achieved.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including R&D, Supplier Quality, PLM, and Operations.
• Develop and manage an international supplier base.
• Support continuous improvement of project procurement processes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree, Master’s degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in project procurement or purchasing.
• Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of RFQ processes, negotiation, and supplier management.
• Ability to work in a technical environment (mechanical/electrical).
• Experience in cross‑functional project coordination.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Results‑driven, proactive, and team‑oriented.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
