Product Data Analyst - Money

About the role

Shotgun is a platform for live music event organizers and touring artists, with teams in Paris, Miami, São Paulo, Lisbon and Marseille. It is building a dedicated product squad around Money, focused on payments, tax compliance and a revamp of its Payment Service Provider (PSP) architecture. As Product Data Analyst, you turn data into decisions and recommendations, ensure every product decision has a data foundation, and guard data quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor the squad's metrics, including financial ones, and teach the team and stakeholders how to read them
• Lead data reconciliation between PSP data (Stripe and others), internal ledgers and accounting systems
• Design advanced data models for financial flows (payments, payouts, taxes, compliance reporting) and challenge the current model and metrics
• Set standards and assign ownership for business-critical financial data
• Support the PSP architecture revamp: data quality checks, migration validation and monitoring
• Contribute to discovery, tracking specs, QA, post-launch monitoring, bug analysis and A/B tests when relevant
• Work with the squad, Ops and Finance, and contribute to the Data Platform (dbt, Snowflake, Airbyte)
• Maintain the context source of truth (metric definitions, business rules, documentation) used by AI agents

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience, including one solid full-time role in financial data or a regulated, high-rigor environment such as fintech, payments, fraud or compliance
• Strong data modeling skills, solid SQL (complex queries), and a strong academic background
• Comfortable with numbers, interested in going deeper into Python, dashboards and product metrics
• Fluent in French and English
• Nice to have: basic understanding of payment flows, Stripe or other PSP data modeling, tax compliance, and B2B experience
