Opérateur sur machine (H/F)

About the role

The Banque de France is seeking a Machine Operator (H/F) on a fixed‑term basis to work in its North‑France cash‑handling centre. The role involves operating a high‑capacity, climate‑controlled sorting machine that processes banknotes.

Key responsibilities

• Feed, control and monitor the banknote sorting machine.
• Perform regular checks and intervene on any malfunction in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Handle banknotes manually, including lifting loads up to 10 kg.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of all processed material.
• Work full‑time, Monday to Friday, in a semi‑industrial, highly automated environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating automatic machines.
• At least a high‑school diploma (Bac) is mandatory.
• Rigorous, methodical and able to work well in a team.
• Strong sense of confidentiality.

Required skills

• Operation of high‑tech sorting machines.
• Basic troubleshooting of automated equipment.
