Mobile Engineer

About the role

Bitstack is building a crypto‑native banking platform for hundreds of thousands of users. As a Mobile Engineer you will own end‑to‑end feature development, collaborate closely with designers and product managers, and ship high‑impact mobile experiences that run in a highly regulated financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, develop, test and launch mobile features from concept to production.
• Partner with cross‑functional squads (Banking, Savings, Growth, Platform) to deliver user‑focused solutions.
• Build a performant, well‑tested Flutter app that integrates with Bitstack’s backend services.
• Ensure UI polish, accessibility and a seamless user experience.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests and maintain high code quality.
• Operate in a compliant, security‑first environment and take responsibility for production stability.
• Contribute to open‑source projects and internal tooling.

Required profile

• Strong experience with native iOS or Android development; able to dive into platform code when Flutter limits are reached.
• Product‑first mindset with a focus on user impact.
• High ownership – you scope, build and support features independently.
• Proven ability to work in small, cross‑functional teams and make technical decisions.
• Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycles, software development best practices and integration testing.
• Comfortable with Git workflows and automation.
• Clear, direct communication skills.
