IT Security Officer (SecOps) - Cybersecurity Controls

About the role

LCH SA, a clearing house and part of the London Stock Exchange Group, is looking for an IT Security Officer (SecOps) to join its Paris-based IT Security team. The role secures the IT infrastructure and business applications, controls protection and detection systems, and manages cybersecurity incidents together with the Security Operations Centre, so that the information system remains secure, resilient, scalable and highly available.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the cyber security controls library by checking the NIST framework pillars (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover)
• Perform cyber security controls and assess or challenge controls carried out by outsourcers
• Assess the confidentiality, integrity, availability and traceability needs of business and technology applications
• Produce and monitor SLAs and KPIs for control activities, and report on identified gaps
• Review and challenge ITIL changes and problem closures that could affect the cyber security posture
• Support other IT Security officers in executing and assessing controls
• Automate some controls with scripting (Python, Perl) and oversee outsourced security services

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5 years as a Security Engineer or similar, controlling security and technology solutions in regulated, highly available environments
• An IT / cyber audit background is a plus; CISSP, GIAC or similar certifications are a plus
• Fluent English is mandatory, given cross-group cooperation
