IT Product Manager - Quality Applications & Portfolio

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a senior IT Product Manager to join its team in Marignane, France. You will lead the core Non-Conformity Management (NCM) application, a backbone of the company, while overseeing monthly governance across a portfolio of around 10 applications in the Quality and Flight Safety area. The role is cross-functional and technical, without performing engineering work yourself.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of the NCM product: discovery, roadmap, backlog prioritization, delivery, maintenance, user adoption and continuous improvement.
• Work with IT specialist teams (Integration, Cybersecurity, IAM, Enterprise Architecture) on data exchange, APIs and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Listen to end users on the plant floor, report key business impacts to top management and translate requirements clearly for technical specialists.
• Measure user adoption across manufacturing and quality sites, refine UX and optimise non-conformity tracking and resolution workflows.
• Lead monthly governance reviews of the ~10 Quality applications, tracking health, risks, KPIs and vendor performance.
• Coordinate product teams with Quality business leaders to keep portfolio projects on schedule.

Required profile

• More than 10 years as an IT Product Manager or IT Project Manager managing enterprise applications.
• Broad IT understanding, able to discuss basic integration patterns (APIs/webhooks) and authentication needs (SSO/access rights) with specialist teams; hands-on coding or architecture design is not required.
• Strong communication skills adapted to end users, technical engineers and top management.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), manufacturing IT or industrial environments is a plus.
