Investment Banking Associate – M&A

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Banking Associate to support M&A transactions for a leading international investment bank in Paris. The role involves close collaboration with senior bankers and cross‑functional teams to drive deal execution from inception to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, valuation, and analysis for potential M&A opportunities across various sectors.
• Lead and participate in due‑diligence processes, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Perform market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and sector developments.
• Support end‑to‑end deal execution, coordinating with legal, regulatory, and financial advisors to ensure smooth transaction flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, or financial advisory.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
