Financial Advisor / Private Client Manager – Expat Market

About the role

This position is with a leading international tax and wealth management firm, supporting affluent British expatriates across Malta, Cyprus, France or Southern Spain. You will join a well‑established platform that provides strong in‑house tax advisory, marketing and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing private clients, ensuring high‑level ongoing service.
• Convert inbound marketing enquiries into new business opportunities.
• Build and grow a personal client book through referrals and networking.
• Advise clients on investments, pensions and tax‑efficient structures.
• Collaborate closely with in‑house tax advisory and support teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Contribute to the growth of assets under management through new client acquisition and retention.
• Maintain regular client contact and identify opportunities for additional investment.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum); progression toward Chartered status is advantageous.
• Proven experience in financial advice, wealth management or private client relationship management.
• Demonstrable track record of winning and retaining clients.
• Strong understanding of investment products, pensions and tax‑efficient structures.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially driven with the ability to generate new business.
• Self‑motivated, professional and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience with high‑net‑worth or expatriate clients is a plus.
