Insurance Risk Manager – Aviation & Property

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Insurance Risk Manager to join its Finance Department in Marignane, France. You will be part of an international team responsible for all insurance activities across the Airbus Group, covering aviation, property, liability, cyber, transport, employee benefits and construction lines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and assess insurable risks across Airbus Helicopters operations.
• Initiate and monitor mitigation and risk‑avoidance measures for identified risks.
• Lead claims management from reporting to full payment, coordinating with experts, brokers and lawyers.
• Support product‑liability claim handling with Legal and track financial impact.
• Provide insurance expertise and advice to business partners and ensure cross‑functional coordination with Legal, Programs, Procurement, Sales, HR and external stakeholders.
• Deliver contractual support on insurance conditions during M&A, bids and tenders, and conduct insurance awareness sessions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Insurance, Business, Law, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational risk and insurance, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent English (negotiation level) and prerequisite French.
• Strong reliability, autonomy, pragmatic approach and excellent communication skills.
