Head of Finance Transformation and Systems: Planning & Reporting

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Head of Finance Transformation and Systems - Planning & Reporting to join the Finance Transformation and Systems Department at its Marignane site, near Marseille. The role leads finance transformation initiatives for the Controlling organisation, standardising, optimising and digitising financial reporting and planning processes, and guides team restructuring and upskilling. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of finance process and system experts based in Marignane and Donauworth, covering ongoing reporting and planning support.
• Define the team's charter, governance and collaboration frameworks, aligned with the wider Finance transformation organisation.
• Partner with Controlling leadership to design a forward-looking transformation roadmap and a Finance Data & Analytics strategy, including data access for non-finance organisations.
• Run strategic initiative selection and evaluation, and lead key projects such as ERP reporting workstreams.
• Promote digital adoption (RPA, AI) and improve run-mode and business support processes to reduce recurring costs.
• Drive change management and upskilling for the adoption of new digital tools.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in Finance Transformation and Systems, managing large-scale, complex projects in an international industrial setting.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end financial reporting and planning, and experience with ERP ecosystems (e.g. SAP).
• Ability to build, lead and coach teams, including distributed ones, and to define transformation roadmaps and drive change management.
• Strong business partnering, analytical and communication skills, and English proficiency.
