Inside Sales Engineer

About the role

MKS France, an industrial company based in Beaune-la-Rolande (France), is looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to act as the primary customer contact for commercial and technical matters. The role covers pre-sales consultative guidance on products, solutions and application scenarios, as well as post-sales support, including coordination and resolution of service and support inquiries. The balance of duties may vary according to business needs and the customer's application.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and organize assigned tasks and responsibilities independently.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Provide technical consultation and support on products, solutions and their applications.
• Process and coordinate customer support and service-related inquiries.
• Act as the interface between customers and internal stakeholders such as Business Units, Field Sales, Customer Service and others.
• Support Field Sales by managing, processing and following up on customer inquiries and projects, while supporting defined revenue and sales objectives.
• Own a defined area of expertise (e.g., product lines, technologies or systems) and serve as an internal point of contact for colleagues and cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• Master's degree or PhD in engineering, technical, scientific or a related field.
• Fluent working proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
• Relevant professional experience is an advantage; practical experience with and technical understanding of photonic products is required.
• Strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving.
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying customer requirements and changing conditions.
