Hotel Technician – Maintenance & Facility Management

About the role

As a Hotel Technician at Ruby Lilou, you will ensure that all technical systems run smoothly, providing guests with a safe and comfortable stay. You will be the behind‑the‑scenes expert who keeps the hotel’s infrastructure in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Perform small repairs, touch‑ups and routine maintenance (e.g., dripping taps, squeaky doors).
• Monitor and maintain all technical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical installations.
• Coordinate external service providers and oversee facility‑management tasks.
• Carry out painting, sealing and other hands‑on work throughout the hotel.
• Collaborate with the corporate office in Munich and the housekeeping team to align maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks in partnership with the Maintenance Manager.
• Order required materials in consultation with the Hotel Manager.

Required profile

• All‑round technical professional with solid craftsmanship.
• Completed apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work is a plus; hands‑on experience is essential.
• Several years of experience in a similar hotel‑technical role.
• Proven ability to manage external service providers efficiently.
• Comfortable working with a variety of trades – painting, electrical, plumbing.
