Global Tech Controller (Permanent)

About the role

Sephora is looking for a Global Tech Controller to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Tech & Digital Reporting Controller, you will be responsible for the financial steering of the technology function, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting and cost control across the global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual accounting closings, including preparation of accrual entries.
• Produce financial reports that meet Group formats and deadlines.
• Monitor and analyse Tech Capex and Opex, managing inter‑company re‑billings.
• Participate in the construction of budgets and revised forecasts with Tech managers.
• Review assumptions, challenge forecasts and ensure timely data submission.
• Validate commitments and expenditures, providing tools for cost monitoring.
• Propose cost‑saving initiatives and alert on potential overruns.
• Use time‑tracking data for invoicing and performance analysis.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of accounting closings, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to work closely with Tech managers and provide reliable financial information.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on cost visibility and financial transparency.
