Field Sales Representative IP&E

About the role

Arrow Global Components, part of Arrow Electronics, distributes and customises electronic components for clients worldwide. It is hiring a Field Sales Representative for the Brittany region and north-western France, based in Rennes. The working model (hybrid or remote) depends on the candidate's location, but the candidate must live in Brittany. The role covers account ownership, relationship building, new business and supplier promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned accounts, build relationships and negotiate at all levels with customers
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities, visiting customers frequently
• Grow the business by maximising Arrow's share, overall profitability and design-in profile and technical sales
• Work with Field Application Engineers, internal sales, marketing, asset and suppliers to grow the business
• Promote Arrow's top suppliers while selling across the full product range, prioritising the largest growth opportunities
• Hold regular meetings with the Sales Manager, track competitor activity and know the Interconnectivity, passive and/or electro-connectivity component market
• Drive supplier initiatives, coordinate supplier and Arrow FAE support to maximise new design opportunities, and keep a clear record of each customer's development projects and their stage
• Understand Arrow's supply chain solutions

Required profile

• Previous experience in the electronic components industry, including distribution, manufacturing, EMS or OEM environments
• Ability to follow EMS customers as well as industrial ones
• Technical selling mindset and electronics knowledge (an engineer is not required)
• Accountability, positive and constructive attitude, project management skills, independence and ability to set priorities
