Enterprise Account Executive - Finance Automation

About the role

BlackLine is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive in Paris for a hybrid role within its Go-to-Market team. You will target new enterprise customers in France while also developing and expanding relationships with existing clients, in the professional services and hospitality sectors (minimum revenue of US$1 billion).

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a strategic territory plan to win new enterprise accounts.
• Lead the full sales cycle for new business independently, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing clients, focusing on retention, deeper relationships and adoption of BlackLine's solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, financial controllers and other C-level executives, articulating a clear return on investment.
• Build and lead virtual teams, coordinating Marketing, Business Development and Pre-Sales resources.
• Develop a predictable sales pipeline and meet revenue targets.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience selling enterprise software, ideally complex accounting or financial technology solutions to large organizations; competitors' experience is valued.
• Candidates from non-traditional sales backgrounds are welcome, such as consultants or accountants with strong accounting knowledge.
• Track record of engaging C-level executives and communicating a compelling value proposition.
• Willingness to travel to meet prospects and clients as needed.
• Fluency in English and French.
