Engineering Digital Innovation Manager

About the role

The Engineering Digital Innovation Manager will drive AI‑based automation and digital solutions across Airbus Helicopters' Design Office. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Enablers, you will act as the bridge between engineering business units and AI experts to boost productivity and streamline processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify pain points in the design office and explore AI‑driven workflow automation.
• Assist in training, testing and deploying AI models for specific engineering use cases.
• Translate technical AI capabilities into practical solutions for various engineering métiers.
• Visit engineering departments to gather requirements, define digital innovation road‑maps and ensure alignment with the overall strategy.
• Develop sustainable enablers using the company’s digital ecosystem (Palantir Foundry, Python, VS Code).
• Coordinate with Central Digital Innovation and Information Management to ensure rollout and production support.
• Prepare regular communications and reports for top‑level management on digital innovation progress.

Required profile

• Academic background in engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AI, automation and digital transformation concepts.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
• Ability to work across transnational teams in France and Germany.
