Design Office Controller – Finance (m/f)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Design Office Controller (Finance) to join its Finance department at the Marignane site near Marseille. You will work closely with the Design Office operational staff and program controllers, contributing to program performance, digitalisation, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage programme Non‑Recurring Cost (development costs) and ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative data for management‑level decision making.
• Measure performance against budgets, highlight variances and propose mitigation actions.
• Maintain transparency on risks and opportunities and support business partners across all directorates.
• Monitor programmes using Earned Value Management and collaborate with stakeholders on Cost at Completion.
• Support change decisions, ensure data circularity, and contribute to quotation and re‑tex improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance or controlling.
• Strong financial analysis skills and ability to communicate in advanced English.
• Leadership, adaptability and a challenge‑oriented mindset.
• Basic knowledge of audit and accounting is a plus.
