Crew Trainer

About the role

The Crew Trainer will work on‑site in France, designing and delivering high‑quality training programmes for yacht crew members. This full‑time position supports the Yachting French Touch philosophy by ensuring crews meet hospitality, safety and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and deliver classroom and practical training modules covering hospitality, safety procedures, onboard service and professional conduct.
• Assess crew skill levels, provide feedback, coaching and support career progression.
• Maintain accurate training records, documentation and compliance with maritime regulations.
• Collaborate with operations, yacht management and academy teams to align training with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Identify skill gaps, propose improvements to training programmes and support continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Strong background in yacht crew operations, luxury hospitality or similar high‑end environments.
• Proven experience in training, coaching or mentoring, including designing and delivering in‑person sessions.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations, crew social legislation and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is highly beneficial.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage schedules and documentation.
