Brand & Marketing CRM Engagement Intern

About the role

Back Market, a global marketplace for refurbished devices, is looking for a CRM engagement intern to join its marketing team in Paris, reporting to the Senior CRM Manager. The CRM team works with brand, business, product and engineering teams to deliver the right message to the right person at the right moment, through email, push notifications and in-app messages. The internship lasts 6 months, starts in January 2027 and is full-time (35 hours per week).

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement multi-channel lifecycle marketing campaigns, working with brand, business and design teams.
• Support brainstorming, implementation and analysis of transactional CRM communications that improve and build new customer journeys, including defining data needs with Product and Engineering teams.
• Run A/B tests, analyse results and recommend strategic improvements.
• Support CRM automation to increase process efficiency and deliver dynamic, personalised content to users.

Required profile

• Comfortable working and speaking in English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, creative, and able to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Affinity with data and comfort with numbers and statistics.
• Previous marketing experience is a big plus, especially in CRM.

Required skills

• Experience with a CRM campaign management tool; using Braze is a big plus.
• Interest in CRM automation and data integration, and in content and design.
• Programming languages: a big plus but not required.
