Strategy and Transformation Director

About the role

As the Strategy and Transformation Director at Ipsen, you will partner with senior leadership to shape and execute the group’s long‑term strategic agenda across divisions and functions. You will lead high‑impact transformation projects that drive growth, operational efficiency, and cultural change within a mid‑sized global biopharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Executive Leadership Team in defining and monitoring Ipsen’s strategic priorities and 10‑year long‑range plan.
• Coordinate with Finance to develop financial models, P&L analyses, and risk assessments for strategic initiatives.
• Design, govern, and deliver cross‑functional strategic and transformation projects, ensuring stakeholder alignment, timeline adherence, and risk mitigation.
• Provide strategic analysis and benchmarking on a broad set of metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with asset team leads, business development teams, and external consulting partners to integrate new assets, evolve operating models, and assess geographic or therapeutic area footprints.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior strategy, transformation, or finance roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders across functions.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale, cross‑functional projects on time and within budget.
