Financial Controller – Financial Services (Paris, Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a dynamic mid‑sized financial services firm in Paris to hire a Financial Controller. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while supporting high‑quality financial reporting and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain robust financial controls.
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight and analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or DSCG equivalent).
• In‑depth technical experience with French GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven experience in corporate/financial accounting, preferably within asset management or financial services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
