Avionics Retrofit Systems Manager

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Avionics Retrofit Systems Manager to lead retrofit projects for avionics upgrades. Based in Toulouse, you will define technical solutions, manage Service Bulletin development and ensure successful delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage retrofit projects end‑to‑end, controlling schedule, cost and quality from technical offer to customer dispatch.
• Develop technical offers and ROM estimates for optional upgrades in collaboration with Airframe Services and Sales.
• Perform maturity analysis for product improvement projects and decide on retrofit launch and planning.
• Define and coordinate the technical retrofit solution, including MOD TRS creation with the Design Office.
• Support production during Service Bulletin authoring and perform technical approvals.
• Respond to customer technical requests, provide adaptations and identify new retrofit products.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electronic or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft avionics systems (e.g., ATA 22, 23, 27, 31, 34, 45, 46).
• Experience with aircraft configuration management, airworthiness and safety.
• Project management skills; aircraft maintenance experience is a plus.
• Proactive, good team player with strong communication and customer focus.
• Fluent in English and good level of French.
