About the role

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving profitable growth across existing and new regional accounts in France and the Iberia region. Reporting to the Director of Sales Europe, the role focuses on building strong customer relationships, expanding market share for polyolefin‑based products, and delivering value‑added solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and contact new prospects to expand the customer portfolio within the assigned territory.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, coordinating sales activities and ensuring alignment with internal teams.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with multiple contacts across customer organisations to influence decision‑makers.
  • Promote product categories, launch new programs, and negotiate agreements that improve margin and volume.
  • Plan and execute extensive travel for customer meetings, action planning, and project management.
  • Collaborate with buyers, product development, and marketing teams to anticipate future needs and tailor solutions.
  • Work closely with internal technical support to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the plastics or related chemical industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing regional accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
