Research Engineer Internship – MCP Security Research

About the role

This research internship is a joint effort between Alpic and the MICS laboratory at CentraleSupélec. You will split your time between Alpic and the university lab, focusing on security research for MCP servers that power AI‑native workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate attack vectors affecting LLM‑integrated MCP server systems.
• Develop a guard‑rail classifier model to scan server inputs and outputs for potential threats.
• Train and evaluate the classifier using real production data from Alpic.
• Collaborate with both Alpic engineers and MICS researchers to validate findings.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field at a tier‑1 university.
• At least one relevant software development experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
