DevOps Engineer – Ansible & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer specialized in Ansible and automation to join HCLTech’s team at a leading banking client in Paris. The role is permanent and hybrid, with three days a week on‑site, and focuses on building scalable, cloud‑native DevOps solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Automate configuration management and deployments with Ansible.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions with Elasticsearch.
• Write Python scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.
• Collaborate with development, operations and security teams to ensure best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the DevOps toolchain.
• Support incident response, root‑cause analysis and ensure security and compliance in cloud environments.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Ansible, Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• Proficiency in Python for automation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or comparable platforms.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for monitoring or search.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of security best practices in DevOps and Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
• Fluency in French and English.
