Chalet Host – 5‑Star Guest Service in Val d’Isère

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Chalet Hosts to join our relaxed catered chalets in Val d’Isère. You will work closely with the Chalet Manager and the wider team to deliver a 5‑star guest experience, combining front‑of‑house service with housekeeping duties.

Key responsibilities

• Breakfast Service: prepare the dining area, welcome guests, take orders for hot food and beverages.
• Afternoon Tea: present a light self‑service meal and drinks.
• Evening Service: provide a family‑style dinner with paired wines.
• Housekeeping: perform weekly changeover cleaning, mid‑week linen change, and daily cleaning of all guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, ski room, living areas and spa.
• Guest Communication: proactively address guest queries and special requests.
• Chalet Maintenance: report any maintenance issues promptly to the Chalet Manager.
• Health & Safety: uphold hygiene and safety standards.
• Supplier Relations: support relationships with local suppliers when needed.
• Driving Duties: provide in‑resort transportation for guests.
• Environmental Responsibility: contribute to sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in France (EU passport or valid Carte de Séjour).
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to interact with guests and team members.
• Physical ability to perform housekeeping and occasional driving duties.
