About the role
Element is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across a portfolio of named accounts within a defined geographic territory. You will be responsible for expanding the reach of Element’s full service offering, re‑engaging dormant accounts, and deepening relationships with existing customers.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers in assigned accounts.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, aiming to meet or exceed assigned budget targets.
- Gather market intelligence, analyze trends, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Deliver presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals in coordination with local business development resources.
- Represent Element at industry events, professional organizations, and client sites.
- Prepare and present reports on sales volume, regional performance, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM system, including call logs and contact details.
- Collaborate with technical support and other sales roles to maximize territory revenue.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of technical experience combined with sales responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Sciences preferred; other relevant scientific or engineering degrees considered.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding account portfolios.
- Strong analytical abilities and market‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
