Accounting Manager – Global Finance Team (Paris)

About the role

ANINE BING is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead its finance team in Paris. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution, supporting the company’s global growth while maintaining the brand’s refined and fast‑moving DNA.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounts payable for France, the UK, the US and other EU entities, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs and expense reporting.
• Lead general accounting operations such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, fixed‑asset accounting, accruals, pre‑payments and inter‑company bookings to ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end closes.
• Manage and develop a team of three (AP Accountant, General Accountant, Intern), setting priorities, coaching and reviewing work.
• Partner with the Accounting & Tax Director to design accounting policies, internal controls and process improvements.
• Drive Finance × IT initiatives, including AP automation tools, ERP enhancements and expense‑management workflow optimisation.
• Support statutory audits and tax filings by preparing schedules, reconciliations and documentation across entities.
• Act as a business partner to Operations, Procurement, Retail and HQ teams, building trust and ensuring smooth vendor management.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years managing a team in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong hands‑on mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
• Excellent organisational skills, rigor and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
