Workday Time Tracking & Absence Specialist

About the role

ALEBS, the HR Digital Solutions Centre of Expertise of Air Liquide Europe Business Services, is looking for an HRIS Analyst specializing in Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management. You will lead the configuration, continuous optimization and global administration of Workday Time & Absence modules across the EAMEI and APAC regions, working closely with Global Business Services, HR Business Partners and Payroll teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure and maintain Workday Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Eligibility Rules, Accrual Calculations, Calculated Fields and Enterprise Interface Builders
• Align business requirements with Workday solutions with GBS teams, Integration Engineers and global stakeholders
• Drive implementation, releases and enhancement projects, including payroll integration workflows
• Maintain payroll mapping configurations and configuration documentation, workbooks and functional specs
• Provide tier-2/3 support for HR ticket escalations and assess bi-annual Workday updates and legal changes
• Lead UAT, regression testing and quality assurance, and develop training materials and user guides
• Identify process bottlenecks, automate time tracking and absence requests, and share knowledge with stakeholders

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Workday configuration, maintenance and support
• Proven track record configuring and supporting Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules in global corporate environments
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll integrations and project management experience
• Fluent professional English; additional languages are an asset

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules and accrual calculations
• Official Workday Pro or Partner certification in Time Tracking / Absence Management strongly preferred
• Analytical, proactive and digital-savvy, with excellent written and oral communication
