WordPress and React Developer

About the role

We are seeking a WordPress and React Developer to join a globally distributed engineering team. The role involves creating high‑traffic WordPress themes and plugins while building modern, interactive front‑end experiences with React. You will work remotely, collaborating with colleagues across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable WordPress themes and plugins.
• Implement interactive UI components using React and modern JavaScript (ES6).
• Collaborate with the team through Git‑based workflows and agile communication tools.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and propose elegant solutions to technical challenges.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security following WordPress coding standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement of product features and user experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑stack WordPress developer with strong front‑end expertise.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on clean, maintainable code.

Required skills

• WordPress core architecture, theme and plugin development.
• React, JavaScript (ES6), HTML, CSS/SASS, jQuery.
• PHP, MySQL.
• Git version control.
• Knowledge of WordPress coding standards and security best practices.
