Technical Leader – Windchill CorePDM

About the role

Take off with Airbus Helicopters! We are seeking a Technical Leader for Windchill CorePDM to join the Physical Product Department in Marignane, France, driving the PLM platform that underpins our helicopter development.

Key responsibilities

• Design fault‑tolerant, scalable and highly available architecture for the Windchill CorePDM application, implement observability (monitoring, tracing, alerting) and optimise performance during traffic spikes.
• Define and enforce standards for code quality, security and automation; lead code reviews, guide technical teams and disseminate best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners and managers to translate business needs into secure technical road‑maps, ensure seamless integration with the global IT landscape and balance new feature delivery with technical debt reduction.
• Act as the primary technical reference during major production incidents, steering rapid resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of technical and functional experience with Windchill, including proven technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.
• Excellent communicator able to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent English and advanced French; experience working in an Agile environment.
