Technical Leader – Windchill CorePDM

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Technical Leader for the Windchill CorePDM platform within its Physical Product Department in Marignane, France. You will drive the architecture, performance and reliability of the PLM solution that supports the end‑to‑end development of helicopters.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain fault‑tolerant, scalable and highly available Windchill CorePDM architecture.
• Define and implement observability strategies, including monitoring, tracing and alerting, and optimise performance under high traffic loads.
• Lead code quality, security and automation standards; own code reviews and validate architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Product Manager to translate business needs into realistic technical road‑maps and ensure seamless integration with the global IT landscape.
• Act as the primary technical reference during major production incidents, guiding rapid resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of technical and functional experience with Windchill CorePDM.
• Proven technical leadership in large‑scale PLM environments.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
