Tech Lead .NET (Generative AI)

About the role

Magellan, an international management and technology consulting group, is looking for an experienced .NET Tech Lead based in Nantes. The role focuses on designing and optimising software architectures while integrating generative AI components that bring real business value. It is office-based or remote up to two days per week, with no client travel.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical and functional requirements and audit existing systems
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance .NET architectures
• Integrate generative AI and machine learning services (Azure AI, OpenAI, ML.NET)
• Lead technical workshops, share best practices and supervise teams
• Mentor developers and run code reviews to define and promote development and architecture standards
• Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices and ensure software quality and security
• Keep a technology watch and propose relevant innovations

Required profile

• At least 5 years of .NET development experience, including managing or mentoring technical teams
• Pragmatic technical leader able to make structural decisions and guide teams
• Fluent in French

• .NET (Core and Framework Standard), C#, REST API, microservices
• Frontend: Blazor, Vue.js, React, Angular, TypeScript
• AI: OpenAI, Azure AI, ML.NET, NLP, computer vision
• Databases: SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Redis, MongoDB, NoSQL
• Cloud and infrastructure: Azure (preferred), Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker
• Methodology and quality: Azure DevOps, Git, Agile, automated testing
