Active Directory Consultant (M/F)

About the role

Magellan, an international management and technology consulting group, is looking for an experienced Active Directory Consultant in Nantes. The role covers hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud) with challenges around access security, identity governance and the move to Entra ID. It suits someone who can run audits, Entra ID modernisation projects and Zero Trust initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and evolve Active Directory environments (architecture, GPO, DNS, delegation, hardening)
• Deploy, configure and maintain Microsoft Entra ID: identity and access management, MFA, conditional access, roles and governance
• Implement and maintain hybrid architectures (Entra Connect / Cloud Sync)
• Take part in identity security projects (Zero Trust, privilege separation, best practices)
• Carry out AD and identity audits and diagnostics, and write recommendations
• Handle complex issues (L2/L3) and perform root cause analysis
• Draft technical documentation and contribute to transformation projects

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience with Active Directory environments and identity topics
• Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex problems
• Autonomous, quick to ramp up on technical topics, and enjoys teamwork with technical and business stakeholders
• Fluent in French
• One or more Microsoft certifications, with a wish to continue training
