About the role

The Little Pioneer Teacher Assistant supports classroom teachers in delivering engaging learning experiences for young children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Adapt classroom activities and materials to reinforce learning objectives.
Assist students individually or in small groups with reading, writing, language, and numeracy tasks.
Maintain classroom equipment, clean work areas, and manage sign‑in/out logs.
Monitor students in various settings to ensure safety and positive behavior.
Prepare instructional materials such as copies, bulletin boards, and laminations.
Report observations and incidents to appropriate staff.
Support daily routines including diaper changing, snack time, and playground activities.

Required profile

High School Diploma.
Ability to pass federal criminal background checks and drug testing.
Commitment to safeguarding children and adhering to school policies.
