Tax Specialist (Referent) – Finance Directorate

About the role

ATR is seeking a Tax Specialist to join its Finance Directorate. You will work in a small, dynamic team supporting the company’s tax compliance and strategy across French and international jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate tax returns (VAT, DAS2, CET, tax credits, Pillar 2, etc.).
• Validate tax data extracted from SAP and drive continuous process improvement.
• Research French and international tax issues, including permanent establishments, withholding taxes and VAT.
• Support transfer‑pricing documentation and related compliance obligations.
• Draft tax clauses in contracts (sales, procurement, partnerships).
• Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks for operational teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Act as the primary tax contact for subsidiaries and internal functions.
• Coordinate work with external advisors such as law firms and consultants.

Required profile

• Degree in tax law or accounting with a focus on operational tax.
• 3‑5 years of tax experience in a firm, corporate environment or mixed setting.
• Fluent in English and French; Italian is a plus.
• Strong autonomy, attention to detail, team spirit and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of French tax rules and international taxation.
• Experience with VAT compliance and related obligations.
• Proficiency in SAP (or equivalent ERP) for tax data extraction.
• Advanced use of MS Office tools.
