System Methods & Tools – Experienced Epic Owner

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an experienced Epic Owner to join its Systems Methods & Tools team in Toulouse. You will help shape software tools that enable system designers to define and design aircraft equipment, supporting the New Avionics program.

Key responsibilities

• Organise steering board and formal gate reviews with top management.
• Act as the primary liaison for business stakeholders to capture system design requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to elicit detailed use cases.
• Conduct solution validation sessions with end‑users.
• Align and prioritise features across multiple tool backlogs.
• Monitor tool implementation progress and flag risks.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end testing activities with business users.
• Identify and resolve blockers in collaboration with relevant teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
• Strong project‑management background in both agile and waterfall environments.
• Deep knowledge of system design processes.
